Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings on the south side of St John's Hill. Number 16 is constructed of brick, while Number 14 has a painted brick facade. They are two storeys high with an attic, and each has three windows with cambered heads and horizontal sliding sash windows. Number 14 has a simple doorcase, while the doorcase to Number 16 is a later replacement. Two gabled dormers, each with replacement sash windows, are visible in the attic. The buildings have plain eaves and are covered with slates.
