Description

The statue of Viscount Hill is located in English Bridge Gardens in Shrewsbury. It was created in 1876 and placed at its current site in 1907. The statue, designed by M Noble, features a large figure mounted on a high polished granite plinth. It was presented to the town of Shrewsbury by Rowland Richard Clegg-Hill, the grandson of Viscount Hill.
