Description

The Church of St Peter is a Grade I listed building located in Chelmarsh. It features beautiful 14th-century fabric and an impressive array of windows from that period. The north doorway dates back to the 12th century, while the brick tower is from the early 18th century, although its base is 14th century. The church has plain roofs, with the main roof being of the braced rafter type, likely from the 14th century. Notably, there is good painted glass by Kempe in the east window.
