Description

The game larder, located approximately 3 metres to the south-west of The Old Rectory, is a disused structure from the late 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick base and has a pyramidal slate roof with a square plan and one storey. The building has deep eaves and a square finial on the roof, which may have been the base of a former cupola. It consists of 4 x 4 bays and includes small-paned wooden windows. The south-east and south-west walls are adjacent to garden walls. Although the interior was not inspected, a plaster ceiling was noted. This larder is included for its group value with The Old Rectory.
