Description

This is a house, likely dating from the 17th century and remodelled in the early 19th century. It is a timber-frame building, now rendered, set on a high plinth. The roof is covered in 20th-century machine tiles. The house features one framed bay and an integral brick end stack to the left. A first-floor window is a three-light wooden casement with a moulded architrave. The ground floor has a two-light wooden casement window fitted in the 20th century. The right-hand side features an early 19th-century six-panelled door. The lower two panels are beaded and flush, while the upper panel is shaped and raised. The doorcase consists of pilaster strips with horizontal fluting, a reeded architrave, a frieze, and a moulded cornice that breaks forward over the pilasters. The interior has not been inspected.
