Description
The outbuildings to the north-east of Whitehall are former stables that have been converted into offices. They date from the early 18th century and may include parts of an earlier structure. The buildings are constructed of brick and feature a roof made of graded Harnage slate, with some areas covered in plain tiles.
There are two ranges that represent different phases of construction. The main range is partly two-storeyed and partly single-storeyed with an attic. It has four inserted windows on the right side of the ground floor, along with three 18th-century doors that have overlights and finely gauged flat-arched brick heads, with earlier windows located between the doors. To the right, there are inserted garages featuring an original door and two windows beyond. The smaller upper windows are earlier but may not be original. The roof includes louvred dormers and there is a continuous outshut at the rear.
The further range to the right has a doorway and window on the left side, along with three round-arched stable doors on the right. The roof of this range features two gabled dormers.
