Description

This is a 17th-century dovecote located approximately 75 metres to the northwest of Fitz Manor. Constructed of red brick with grey sandstone ashlar dressings, it has a pyramidal slate roof and an octagonal plan. The dovecote features a chamfered plinth and flush stone quoins. A small window, possibly inserted later, and a blocked square window are found on the south side, while a low, segmental-headed boarded door is situated to the southeast. The interior has not been inspected. The dovecote is no longer associated with Fitz Manor and is now part of Manor Farm.
