Description
This is a churchyard cross located about 15 yards south of the south-east window of the nave of the Church of St David. It is probably from the 14th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The cross features three steps leading up to a square base that has a chamfered top and an ogee-headed niche on the west side. The stump of the octagonal shaft is approximately two feet high and has screws that were used for a former sundial. The pyramidical stops on the shaft transition it to the square base. Notably, the steps, base, and shaft remain completely unrestored.
