Description

The retaining wall to the lower terrace on the garden front of Eastnor Castle was built in the 1870s by G E Fox. It surrounds the north-east and south-east sides of the castle and is constructed from rock-faced rubble on a battered plinth. The wall stands approximately 5 to 8 meters high and features an embattled parapet. The junction of the two sides is distinguished by two large and one small projecting bastion.
