Description
The former Baptist Chapel, built in 1731, is located to the rear of the Baptist Church in Weston Under Penyard. It is constructed of red brick, which is now rendered, and features a slate roof with ashlar coped gables and kneelers, along with a single brick gable stack. The south entrance front has a central plank door, above which is a two-light glazing bar casement. Both the east and west fronts have two tall, two-light glazing bar casements. Inside, the chapel contains mostly 19th-century pews and fittings, along with a small gallery at the south end. Beneath the floor at the northeast end is a brick and stone rectangular baptistry.
