Description

This limekiln, likely built in the late 18th to early 19th century, is located in Leintwardine. It is constructed from roughly coursed and squared sandstone rubble, featuring sandstone dressings, and faces roughly south. The structure includes a central segmental headed arch, approximately six feet high, made with dressed voussoirs, situated beneath the walling. Inside, there is a flue at the rear.
