Description

Masonic Hall, formerly known as the British and Foreign School, is located on Wye Street and dates back to 1865. The building is a large four-storey structure made of red sandstone with a slate roof. It features three casement windows, with pointed heads on the top and third floors, and a door with a pointed opening. A castellated wall connects it to No 4. Masonic Hall and Nos 11 to 14, forming a group of buildings. There is a panel on the building that reads, "The Royal Ross and Archenfield British School. Established under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Victoria. October 7th 1865."
