Description

Nos 6 and 7 Wye Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a cellar. It features stucco on red sandstone and has three sash windows. The entrance is covered by a flat doorhood supported by iron struts. On the southwest side, there is a large external chimney with a small recess near the top. The cellar door has an elliptical stone head, and there are two doors with fielded panels, with the left side being splayed. This building, along with the former Castle Vaults and Nos 2 to 7 (consecutive), forms a group of historical significance.
