Description
Vaga House, located at 54 Wye Street, is a building dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. It has three storeys and a cellar, featuring a stucco front and a slate roof with a low parapet. The left side of the house is splayed, and it is adorned with four flat pilasters that extend from the ground to the eaves cornice. The windows are similar to those of the adjoining Man of Ross Inn to the west. The entrance has a flat door hood supported by two Tuscan columns and is topped with a rectangular fanlight. There are two splayed bays on both the ground floor and the first floor. Vaga House forms a group with the adjacent Radcliffe House at No 52.
