Description
The Man of Ross Inn is a 17th-century building that has been largely rebuilt and refaced. It features a combination of stucco on red sandstone and brick, standing three storeys tall with dormers. The roof is slate with decorative barge boards, and there is a large old brick chimney set diagonally on the ridge. A notable feature is the two-storeyed splayed bay that extends from the top of the ground floor to the top of the second floor. To the left, there is a one-storeyed extension that serves as a bar, topped with a high curved gable and a triangular pediment. The Man of Ross Inn is part of a group that includes the Valley Hotel Garage and Plymouth House.
