WYE STREET 1. 1560 (South Side) Former Castle Vaults (Formerly listed as Castle Vaults Public House) SO 5924 1/77 22.10.52. II GV

    1. 3 storeys. Stucco over red stone. Slate roof with fancy barge boards. East front has a gabled porch and there are gables on either side, Porch has doorway with ogee head and window with pointed head above. All windows have patterned panes and "Tudor"dripmoulds. On Wilton Road front there are 3 gables with fancy barge boards, 3 sash windows with 3 lozenges above, one bearing the date, another the letter H. [Former Castle Vaults and Nos 2 to 7 (consec) form a group.
