Description

Providence Cottage is a 17th-century cottage featuring a stone rubble ground floor and timber-framed upper levels. The roof is slate with gabled ends, and the building has one storey plus an attic. There are two windows on the ground floor, including one larger casement with glazing bars. The central doorway is topped with a gabled hood. Above, there are two gabled dormers, each with two-light casements. A massive stone chimney stack is located at one end, with a brick upper stage.
