Description
Down House is an early 19th-century Regency house located in Linton by Bromyard. The building is stuccoed and features a low-pitched upper slate roof with oversailing eaves. It has two storeys and a three-bay front. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the ground floor includes French windows that lead to an ornamental cast iron verandah with a tent-sloped canopy, which is now clad in corrugated iron. The verandah extends to the right side of the house, where there is a doorway and a French window set in a reeded architrave. The doorway has panelled reveals and a panelled door.
