Description

Down Lodge is an early 19th-century small cottage that once served as a lodge. It is constructed of stone rubble and stands two storeys high. The building features two casement windows with depressed ogee arches; the windows on the first floor extend beyond the eaves to create dormers. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has overhanging eaves. At the rear, there is a modern brick lean-to addition.
