Description

Bridge House is a late 16th-century building located on Linton Lane in Bromyard. It has two storeys with an attic and features a timber-framed gabled front, which is partly constructed in large squares and partly in a herringbone pattern. The gabled storey projects on a moulded bressummer, and there is a carved barge board with enriched brackets at the ends. The first floor, which formerly projected, has been under-built in brick. On the ground floor, there is a small splayed bay window. The rear of the house is made of brick, with some heavy timber framing and old windows. Bridge House is part of a group that includes Nos 24 and 26, as well as an adjoining barn.
