Description
This is a water pump located about 12 yards north of Warlow Farmhouse, likely dating from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a shaft with rings and a fluted top, along with a decorated spout and a cranked handle. On the lower part of the shaft, there is a plaque with raised lettering that reads: "BAMFORD'S UNIVERSAL LIFT PUMP PATENT BAMFORD & SONS UTTOXETER STAFFS." The pump is included for its group value.
