Description

The churchyard cross, located about 10 yards south-east of the south porch of the Church of St Michael, is possibly from the 14th century and is made of sandstone. It features two square steps leading up to a square base, which is a cube measuring approximately two feet on each side. On the west face of the base, there is a small round-headed niche. At the top, there is a square socket that holds a loose fitting remnant of an octagonal shaft, which is about two feet long.
