Description

The Addis monument, located about 20 yards south of the south porch of the Church of St Bridget, is a chest tomb dedicated to Betty Addis, dating from the late 18th century. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a moulded base with hipped capping. The end panels are gadrooned to resemble balusters and are adorned with swags and drapery. The side panels have raised margins with quadrant corners and paterae.
