It features a timber-frame and plaster construction over sandstone rubble, topped with a corrugated-asbestos roof. The barn measures 40 meters in length and consists of 10 bays, which are divided into two builds. The front of the barn is open and includes various windows and entrances. There is a stock fattening lean-to supported by timber posts. Additionally, there is a stone wing to the north-west that is believed to date from the 18th century.
