Description

Brook Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid- to late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with an ashlar facade and a slate roof. The house has two storeys and three bays. The central window on the first floor is distinguished by a round head and a transom that branches to form Y-tracery. The remaining windows are 19th-century casements with timber mullions and transoms, all set beneath keyed lintels. The central door also has a keyed lintel.
