Description
The cider house, likely built in the 18th century, is located to the north-west of Lower Court. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a tiled roof. The building has a rectangular plan that runs east to west and consists of two storeys. Each floor has a four-pane casement window, and there are two ledged doors, one on the right and one on the left side. Tallet stairs lead to a third ledged door positioned to the left of the center. Inside, the cider house contains a press and mill, and the trusses are made up of curved principals with collars that support V-struts.
