Description
Ravens Hill is a cottage dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It features a timber-frame structure with plastered infill and machine-tile roofs. The building has a one and two room front, is one storey high with an attic, and includes three gabled half-dormers. On the ground floor, there are three windows; the two on the left have 20th-century casements, while the right window has an angled bay with weathering to the centre, paired with a window and a ledged door to its right. The timber-frame is made of thin scantling, with the left bay appearing thinner. The present wall-plate has three and a half panels, and the end gable features three struts between the tie and collar, along with 'V' struts in the apex. At the rear, there is a large extruded local type chimney.
