Description

The Mann memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 2 metres south-east of the east end of the Church of St John the Baptist. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The tomb has a rectangular plan featuring a moulded plinth and capping, with fielded inscription panels that are flanked by piers. It commemorates John Mann, who died in 1786, along with other members of the family.
