Description
Crispin House is a 17th-century building located on the south side of Church Lane. It has a timber frame but has been refaced in brick, which is now colourwashed. The house features dentil blocks under the eaves and has a tiled roof with gable ends. The timber framing is exposed in the gable end. On the first floor, there is a 19th-century canted bay window with sashes and glazing bars. There is another bay window on the ground floor, which has a cornice that extends over the door. To the left, there is a round-headed passage opening. Crispin House is part of a group that includes Ivy Cottage, The Old Tennery, the cottage occupied by Mrs. Willisms, Church House, and Abbots Lodge.
