Description

The United Reformed Church (Congregational) is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick with stone dressings. It features a parapet topped with a stone cornice, a segmental pediment, and urns. The church is two storeys high and has three windows with stone architraves; the sashes include glazing bars, and the centre window on the first floor is designed in a Venetian style. A moulded band runs along the building. At the centre, there is a brick porch that has a stone cornice and a round-headed stone doorway with a flush-panelled door. The roof is made of slate, and there are round-headed windows on the sides.
