SO 32 NW LONGTOWN CP -

6/73 (old) Welsh Hunthouse approximately 3 m to rear of (New) Welsh Hunthouse

GV II

Former farmhouse, now used as outbuilding. C15 with Cl7 additions, further mid-C19 alterations and C20 additions. Sandstone rubble with corrugated metal roof, brick C20 additions. L-plan with wing extending to north at rear, C20 addition to west of east/west wing, west of centre entrance and west gable- end stack. Single storey and attic. Entrance front: large 2-light multi- pane casement, wooden square-headed doorway flanked to left by large 5-light casement window and to right by small square light, further doorway to west. C20 addition. Interior reveals cruck construction, two trusses remaining fairly intact with chamfered members, traces of smoke blackening. (New) Welsh Hunthouse is not included in this list.
