Description
The stable block, built around 1840, is located approximately 50 yards north-north-west of Treago. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings and features a tiled roof. The building has a U-shaped plan with the arms facing east. The east elevation is symmetrical, featuring a central gable front flanked by two advanced gables, each supported by a pair of buttresses. The ground floor includes a 3-light casement window and the central attic light, while the central gable has a 2-light window in the attic and two shallow triangular-headed coach entries. Inside the right wing, there is a series of loose boxes. The stable block is situated in a prominent position on the approach to Treago and is included for its group value.
