Description

The Wylde House is an early to mid-17th century farmhouse. It is constructed of timber frame, with painted brick and plaster panels and a plain tiled roof. A brick stack projects to the right, and another lateral stack is present to the left, featuring an ashlar base with two diagonal brick chimneys. Originally, the house had a through-passage plan with a service wing to the right, a central hall, and a parlour to the left. The ends are two storeys high, while the centre is single-storey with an attic. There are three bays, each containing C20 casement windows. A two-storey porch tower is located off-centre to the right, and a C19 brick out-shut sits to the left of the porch.
