1/224 Cider house and stable attached to east of The Firs

GV II

Cider house and stable. Probably C18. High sandstone rubble plinth, timber-frame two panels high with plank and woven infill, tiled and corrugated iron roof. Two bays aligned east/west. South elevation has ledged door to left hand side. Loft door to east gable. Interior has three types of trusses: two vertical posts from tie to collar; raking struts from tie to principals; and central post from tie to collar with raking struts. Attached to west is a one-bay brick and timber structure linking to The Firs (qv).
