Description
Yatton Court and its attached outhouses are a house and outbuildings dating from the early 19th century, with extensions added in the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of ashlar and features a slate roof. The west front has three storeys and is adorned with a coved cornice. There are four windows on the upper floors, with glazing bar sashes on the first floor and 6-pane sashes on the second floor. The ground floor has two larger glazing bar sashes. The central entrance is highlighted by a flat-roofed portico supported by two Ionic columns and features an entablature. The entrance door has four panels, with the upper two glazed and topped by a fanlight with wrought iron decoration. On either side of the entrance are two circular recesses. The right-hand (south) return front includes tripartite windows separated by stone mullions on the ground and first floors, with moulded stone architraves on the ground floor. The second floor features Diocletian windows, and the gable above is designed as a pediment. At the north-east corner, there is a hexagonal outhouse with a pyramidal roof. Inside, the main staircase is fitted with stick balusters.
