Description

This is a dovecote located about 40 metres west of Byford Court, dating from the late 17th century and restored in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill and a pyramidal stone tile roof, which is topped with a glazed glover and has swept eaves. The entrance is on the south wall and consists of a simple wooden architrave with a ledged and boarded door. The framing includes three rectangular panels that are high, with straight tension braces and angle braces. The interior has lost its nesting boxes.
