Description

Bishopsgate Cottage is a 17th-century timber-frame building with square panels of painted brick and plastered panels to one end wall. It is a long, low range with a tiled roof and gable ends. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, which are small, modern casements with glazing bars. A doorway is sheltered by a tiled, gabled hood. A modern extension mimics the appearance of timber framing.
