Description
The old wall and doorway located in the garden of Number 6, approximately 7 metres northeast of the house, date back to the 14th century. The structure is made of rubble and ashlar, featuring a rubble wall that extends about 20 metres from north to south. This wall incorporates a chamfered, pointed arched doorway. It is believed that there was a monastic grange on this site, which belonged to Repton Priory and was known as Repingdon Grange, locally referred to as "Hobgoblins."
