SUTTON BONINGTON PARK LANE (west side) Old walling and doorway in Garden of No.6, approx. 7M north east of the house

Wall and doorway. C14. Rubble and ashlar. Rubble wall extending approx. 20 metres from north to south, incorporating a chamfered, pointed arched doorway. There is said to have been a monastic grange on this site belonging to Repton Priory, known as Repingdon Grange, locally known as "Hobgoblins". Transactions of the Thoroton Society, 1925, vol. XXIX.
