Description
The Framework Knitter's Workshop at Number 80 is a mid-19th century building that has been altered in the 20th century. Originally a workshop, it now serves as a store and studio. The structure is made of red brick and features a slate roof, with a red brick stack on the right gable. It stands two stories tall and consists of four bays. From left to right, there is a doorway with a plank door, a single glazing bar fixed light, a doorway with plank double doors, and a single glazing bar fixed light in a former larger opening, all topped by a single wooden lintel. Above these, there is a large central glazing bar casement in what was once a doorway, flanked by single quadripartite glazing bar casements. This building is included for its group value.
