Description

SUTTON BONINGTON MAIN STREET SK 52 NW (west side) 4/88 No.119 including shop occupied by John W. Wood, Butcher G.V. II House, now house and shop. Early C19 with later C19 alteration. Red brick. Concrete pantile roof. 2 red brick gable stacks. Dogtooth eaves. Two and a half storeys, 2 bays. Single tripartite glazing bar cross Yorkshire sash under a segmental arch, to the left is a late C19 shop window with decorative woden panel under, flanked by single panelled pilaster strips, with entablature over. Above are 2 tripartite glazing bar Yorkshire sashes under segmental arches and on the top floor 2 casements, that on the left with glazing bars.
