Description
This is a group of headstones located approximately 25 metres south of the tower and 5 metres north of the south churchyard wall of the old Church of St Mary. They date from the later 18th century and are made of slate. The following four headstones are of notable quality:

A shaped, classical headstone featuring a relief vase in a sunk panel, along with flowers, dedicated to John White, who died in 1784.

A shaped headstone decorated with flowers and a relief of a child's head with wings, dedicated to Mary, wife of John White, who died in 1783.

A shaped, classical headstone with a relief of an angel blowing a trumpet, dedicated to John, son of John and Mary White, who died in 1783. This headstone is signed 'S. Wood - Bingham'.

A rectangular headstone with flowing foliage decoration and a relief cherub with wings, dedicated to Elizabeth, wife of Richard Pratt, who died in 1759.
