Description
The Old Vicarage is a house located in Tythby Village, dating from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick and features a steeply pitched pantile roof with end stacks and chamfered brick verges. The building has a near symmetrical three-bay facade, with a plinth and a brick band at the first floor. The central entrance is a door set within a late 20th-century wooden open porch. To the left of the door is a tripartite window, and to the right is a bipartite window, both fitted with 20th-century casements. The attic includes two 19th-century gables, each with a 2-light casement, and a smaller 20th-century gabled dormer in the center, also featuring a 2-light casement. There is a lower, later wing at the rear of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
