Description

A pair of houses, originally a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century with additions from the early 19th century and alterations in the late 19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick with half-timbering and render, and have plain tile and pantile roofs, featuring three ridge stacks. The south-facing street frontage is five bays wide, with a single storey and attics. The central three bays feature a three-light cross casement window, flanked by plank doors with carved spandrels. These are in turn flanked by single three-light cross casement windows. Above the ground floor windows are three tall gabled dormers, each having a two-light cross casement. The interior includes chamfered spine beams and inglenook fireplaces.
