Description

This is a mid-19th century house and adjoining outbuilding located in Bingham Long Acre. The buildings are constructed of brick, colourwashed, and have hipped and gabled slate roofs. A brick plinth, a first-floor band, and rebated eaves are prominent features. There are three brick stacks, one being external.

The main house is two stories and four bays, forming an "L" shape with a rounded corner. Most windows are glazing bar sashes with rubbed brick heads. The south front has a two-story outbuilding to the left, containing a 20th-century shop window and door. To the right of the outbuilding is a 20th-century casement window. Above the outbuilding is a cross casement. The house itself has a central, pilastered doorcase with curved brackets supporting a hood. A part-glazed 19th-century door with overlight is set within the doorcase, accompanied by a shoe-scraper to the left. Single sashes flank the door, with three smaller sashes above. The east front features a single sash window on each floor, and a Fire Insurance plaque is visible.
