Description

This is a tomb dating from 1852, located 20 metres northeast of Annabell's Farmhouse. It is constructed of red brick and slate, featuring a rectangular chest tomb with brick side walls and a thick slate slab. The slab is inscribed with the names and details of Thomas Annabell, who died on June 24th at the age of 78, and Mary Annabell, who died on May 6th, 1852, at the age of 84. The inscription is signed at the bottom by Bramley, Swithland. Thomas Annabell was a Baptist who built Annabell's Farm and chose to be buried on the property he established.
