Description
The Garden House is a house built in the early 18th century, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. The original structure is made of red brick stretchers and blue brick headers, featuring an ashlar plinth and a plain tile roof. It has a single ridge red brick stack and raised eaves and first floor bands. The central porch is closed and made of wood, with a plain tile roof and a plank door, flanked by side walls that have single fixed lights. On either side of the porch are single tripartite casements set under segmental arches. Above the porch, there are two tripartite casements. To the left, under a continuing roof with similar bands, is a 19th-century single bay range made of red brick, which has a left gable red brick stack. This range features a single tripartite casement under a segmental arch, with a similar casement above.
