Description

The barn and attached outbuilding at Thrumpton House date from the late 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature plain tile roofs. The gables are brick coped with kneelers, and there are dentil eaves. The barn is one and a half storeys tall and has no openings. To the left of the barn is a single-storey, two-bay outbuilding that has a single segmental arched opening with a plank shutter, along with a blocked doorway to the left. This structure is included for its group value only, and Thrumpton House itself is not listed.
