Description
The wall, gate, and overthrow to the churchyard of the Church of St. George are late 19th century, with additions from 1911 and 1937. The wall is made of ashlar and features shaped coping, standing about one metre high. It extends approximately 52 metres from north to south along Manor Road and then about 30 metres from east to west along Church Street. The section facing Manor Road includes a gateway with a double wooden gate from 1937 that has open traceried panels, and a cast iron overthrow from 1911, which features a single central lamp made of glass and iron.
