Description
The tennis pavilion in the grounds of Stanford Hall dates from the late 1930s and was likely designed by Messrs. Allom for Julian Cahn. It features a structure made of timber and render, probably over red brick, topped with a hipped thatched roof. The pavilion is a single storey with three bays, including three open wooden arcades; the central bay is slightly wider, and the posts are supported with braces. The arcades can be closed off with inner panelled and glazed sliding double doors. Each oblique side wall has a single oval fixed light. The interior contains some rustic furniture from the 1930s.
