Description

The Cam headstone, located approximately 20 metres south of the west side of the tower of the old Church of St Mary, dates from 1750. It is made of slate and is small and rectangular in shape. The headstone features two round-faced winged angels. It commemorates John Cam Senior, who died in 1750, and also John, the son of John and Sarah Cam, who died in 1756 at the age of 19.
